Synopsis
Dots is a spirited and cheerful young woman, who despite growing up in a funeral home has never been interested in death. She spends her days tending to her luscious garden, far from the gloomy business run by her father Amos, the undertaker.
One morning, Dots gets a strange vision of Amos' death. Dismissing it at first, the visions recur throughout the day and become increasingly intrusive. Determined to prove them wrong, Dots does everything she can to keep her father safe, unaware that fate cannot be changed.
When the inevitable strikes, a dying Amos reveals to his daughter that he too had the ability to sense death. The deathly premonitions are a gift passed down for generations - starting with a vision of your father's demise and later to be used in your work. It is the burden and the gift of the undertaker.

We find Dots months later as she has taken over her father's role as undertaker. But in place of Amos' dark parlour, we find a bright, luxuriant space filled with fresh flowers, a funeral home not for the dead, but for the living.
